Inspiratoriet can be let by groups and processes that are in line with the work that is already taking place here – meaning processes supporting presence, co-operation and connectedness.

Examples could be Yoga, Leadership training, Mindfulness, Tai Chi, Meditation, Kinesiology, Teambuilding, Cranio Sacral therapy, Reflexology, Psychotherapy etc. It is wonderful that the place is used by many different groups, each of them manifesting their unique field of presence here.

Samsø is in the heart of Denmark and is easily accessible from the mainland as well as from Sjælland. Ferries leave from Hou (30 km south of Århus) to Sælvig and from Kalundborg (Sjælland) to Ballen. You can find more info on www.tilsamsoe.dk and www.faergen.dk på www.faergen.dk

Facilities – in total 400 m2:

  • 10 rooms (6 db, 4 single) – 16 beds
  • Big meditation/yoga hall on 1st floor with meditation cushions, yoga mats, chairs and a massage bed.
  • Kitchen with all you need to cater for 20 people

  • Beautiful garden 10.000 m2 with many different garden spaces.
  • 1 fire pit (firewood can be bought/ordered here)
  • 5.000 m2 well established food forest, designed according to permaculture principles – many interesting fruits, nuts, berries, edible flowers and perennial vegetables.
  • The open landscapes of Samsø right outside the door – high skies, sea, fields and beaches :o)

Extra teacher’s apartment –35 m2 (extra rent)

In 2018 we have built a teacher’s apartment with 2 beds, kitchenette and bathroom/toilet. This gives you the opportunity to have 16 participants and an extra private space for you and/or your retreat helpers.

The apartment costs 500 kr. + vat per night.

Extra facilities – 145 m2 (extra rent)

  • Lounge with giant sofas, chairs, tables, books and a wood burner.
  • Big teaching hall with tables, chairs, projector, flip-over etc.
  • Terrace with a lovely view over the fields and a slice of Stauns Fjord

Guidelines

To support and enhance the field of presence, that we are cultivating here there are some simple guidelines that we ask you to follow when you rent or visit the place.

  • That you treat the place with respect and presence – that you feel completely at home and also act with the same kind of responsibility that you would in your own home.
  • We also invite you to reduce or avoid eating industrially produced meat and dairy products – we are very happy to help you make contact with local, organic, sustainable suppliers of vegetables, eggs etc.
  • Smoking is only allowed outside where it does not bother others and all cigarette butts should be put in the garbage bin.

Weekend: 8.000 kr. + 1.500 kr. cleaning – excl. VAT, incl. electricity and water usage (arrival Friday, departure Sunday afternoon)

Thursday – Sunday: 11.500 kr. + 1.500 kr. cleaning – excl. VAT, incl. electricity and water (arrival Thursday, departure Sunday Afternoon – 3 nights)

Wednesday – Sunday: 14.500 + 1.700 kr. cleaning – excl. VAT, incl. electricity and water (arrival Wednesday, departure Sunday Afternoon – 4 nights)

Week: (5-6 nights): 16.500 kr. + 2.000 kr. cleaning – excl. VAT, incl. electricity and water (arrival Monday/Tuesday, departure Sunday Afternoon)

Extra night is 350 kr. excl. VAT per person and should be arranged on beforehand

Ekstra night is 350 kr. excl. VAT per person and should be arranged on beforehand.

Extra Teacher’s appartment with small kitchen and private bathroom 35 m2

The price is 500 kr. per night (2 beds) and should be booked at least a week before retreat starts.

Booking deposit and Payments

We ask a non-refundable deposit of 3.000 kr. + VAT (25%) to secure your booking, we will send you an invoice on the deposit along with the contract for your booking. The deposit will be subtracted from the final invoice which will be sent to you shortly after your stay on Inspiratoriet. If you cancel your booking less than a month before the first day of your booking we will invoice you 50% of the full renting fee as stated in the contract.
